True fans of any show are just like you & me, except for things that may do differently than the rest of us; they go to work, play with their kids & so on, but definitely know the difference between what's real & what's not. Unlike Fake fans, true fans of shows do dress up at conventions, post on boards & so on, but don't treat it like it's real, live it like it has anything to do with real life, dress up in other places that aren't appriate, nor get angry when no one sees it the way they do; plus, they have, at least, some idea of what's what, since they may like a certain show, but don't act upon it.

Is this happening a lot? Depends on your point of view.
Does anyone act upon this? More than you'd like to know (for mor info, please see Fake Friends, Fake People & Fakes, Betrayal & Trickery, Flamers & Troublemakers & Fake Fans of any show); plus, these people may chew you out, because you're not totally (as in living it 24 hrs/day) into it or treating it like it's real.
Are there any true fans left? There's more True Fans of shows than there are Fake fans of shows, due to it's popularity & so on.
